We have just posted new submission guidelines on the website. The vast majority of what’s different will only apply to those few who just can’t bear the thought of submitting work to a publisher without visiting their friends at the Post Office. For those who love e-subs as much as we do, the only news is this:
Update: Effective August 1, 2009, we will begin a reading period during which we will work through our backlog of requested manuscripts. During this period we won’t be reviewing new submissions–but we will still accept them. Any proposals submitted during the reading period will be safe; if you wish to submit a proposal during this period, with the understanding that it will be a few weeks before we can give it the attention it deserves, you should feel absolutely secure in doing so.
Thanks for your patience. We’ll be back to reading new proposals soon.
Of course, regular visitors here on the blog and on our Facebook page won’t find that too surprising, either.
